Our Mission - Choose to Reuse

YourOwnBagTM was designed to help reduce plastic and paper bag usage.  All YourOwnBags are made of sustainable fabrics and materials are sourced locally whenever possible.  We take pride in knowing that we do not use plastics (new or recycled), nylon, or polyester as fabric for YourOwnBags.  Instead, we have chosen sustainable fabrics including Certified Organic Cotton, hemp, silks, and peace silks.  GOTS inks and dyes are used to print and dye our fabrics. 

YourOwnBagTM is re-usable, fashionable, and if used over and over will help cut down on the use of paper and plastic bags that end up in dumps, rivers, oceans, sides of roads, landfills, and threatening wildlife.

We believe that paper and plastic bags are a bad habit.   Their usage has become an environmental problem we all need to work on, as we are all part of the solution.   Please choose to reuse your shopping bags!
